the sauna and the lake

Hoy he tenido mi primera auténtica experiencia finlandesa. Hemos ido de excursión con el ESN (Exchange Students Network) a una cabaña en un lago. Después deuna mañana entera haciendo actividades como si fueramos niños (relamente divertido) hemos comido salchicas, lo realmente agradable de la situación es que cada uo ha tenido que hacerse su propia salchicha en la chimenea de la cabaña.
Después en pequeños grupos hemos ido a la sauna. ¿Habéis estado alguna vez en una habitación de madera a 95 grados con un montón de tíos y alguno de ellos totalmente desnudo? pures yo si.  Lo mejor de todo es que tras 20 minutos en la sauna hemos salido corriendo y nos hemos metido en el lago ( estamos hablando de una temperatura aproximada de 9 grados en la calle),,,, pues creedme cuando os digo que ha sido una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida. Tenéis que hacerlo.

Después, por la tarde hemos estado en una cafetería y me he dado cuenta de una cosa muy curiosa.... a los finlandeses les encanta estar descalzos.. en la cafetería todo el mundo estaba descalzado.... por supuesto nos hemos unido a ellos.

Bueno la semana que viene me voy de viaje a Laponia tres días.... cuento los segundos........

Today I had my first real Finnish experience. We hiked the ESN (Exchange Students Network) to a cabin on a lake. After doing activities ofa entire morning as if we were children (relamente fun) we ate sausages, the really nice uo situation is that each has had to make their own sausage in the chimney of the cabin.




After small groups have gone to the sauna. Have you ever been in a wooden room at 95 degrees with a bunch of guys and some of them totally naked? pures I do. Best of all is that after 20 minutes in the sauna we have run and we've gotten into the lake (we're talking about a temperature about 9 degrees on the street ),,,, believe me when I say it has been a the best experiences of my life. You have to do it.



Later in the afternoon we have been in a coffee shop and I've noticed something very curious .... the Finns love to be barefoot .. in the cafeteria, everyone was barefoot .... of course we have joined them.



Well next week I'll travel to Lapland three days .... I count the seconds ........
