The City Hall reception and Tequila Party !

Ayer me sentí importante. El alcalde de Oulu me dio la mano. A mi y a otros 300 alumnos extrangeros, pero también a mi.
Tuvimos una recepción para estudiantes de intercambio en el ayuntamiento y no os podéis ni imaginar lo increible que fue. Primero nos hicieron esperar en una habitación donde unos chicos se encargaban de ir cogiendo nuestras chaquetas para guardarlas. Después retiraro el cordon de terciopelo de unas escaleras y nos invitaron a subir. Si, había alfombra roja. Y llegamos a un salon enorme con numerosas copas de diferentes vinos, champñan y comida muy bien presentada ( y unos bombones riquíssimo con la bandera de finlandia). Como muchos os habréis imaginado el plato principal era carne de reno. Y he de decir que estaba buenísima.

Después y para variar......... Fiesta de Tequila !!!! Fuimos a una de las residencias universitarias y nos pusimos como cabras bebeindo, y ya cuando ibamos fatal decidimos bajarnos al centro de la ciudad al Club Onela (una discoteca de quí). Bien, el sitio de la "Tequila Party" y el centro de la ciudad estan a unos 3 kilometros..... tardamos algo más de una hora en llegar, auqnue lo más gracioso es que no calculamos que en Finlandia los clubs cierran a las 03.00 y nosotros llegamos a las 02.30 ...... así que después de más de una hora caminando, nos comimos un perrito caliente y a casa otra vez !!!!!!!

La próxima vez (¿hoy? ) intentaremos llegar a tiempo :-D

Yesterday I felt important. The Mayor of Oulu shook my hand. For me and other foreigners 300 students, but also to me.
We had a reception for exchange students at the town hall and you can not even imagine what it was incredible. First they made us wait in a room where some boys were responsible for taking our jackets go for storage. Then withdraw the velvet cordon and invited us stairs to climb. Yes, there were red carpet. And we reached a large room with numerous glasses of different wines, champagne and food very well presented (and a delicious chocolates with the flag of Finland). As many of you thought you will have the main course was reindeer meat. And I must say that was great.


Then and for a change ......... Tequila Fiesta!! We went to a university halls of residence and we were like goats bebeindo, and when we were fatal and decided to get off the center of the city Onela Club (a nightclub in chemical). Well, the site of the "Tequila Party" and the center of the city are within a 3 km ..... it took just over an hour to arrive, auqnue funniest thing is that we estimate that in Finland the clubs close at 03.00 and we come to 0230 ...... so after over an hour walk, we ate a hot dog and home again !!!!!!!



The next time ("today?) Try to arrive on time:-D
